August 17, 1685 - Will of Henry Whitaker

Henry Whitaker bequethes to his son John, the leaseholds call Axfords; son Henry the leashold called Horsecates; son William the leaehold called Franklins; son Thomas, leasehold called Redlands; son Philip, leasehold of arable land of Mr. Ashes, being 40 acres in Braton field; daugters Ann and Margaret, £200 each; daughter Judeth and Diness,£100 each in money. Appoints his wife as executrix of the rest of his goods; daughters to recieve thier portions, and sons their leaseholds when 21 years old. Appoints John Black [Blatch?] and James Black [Blatch?] his brothers-in-law, John Aldridge his cousin and William Whitaker his brother, to be oversears, giving them 5s each. [Will not dated but proved at Westbury, 17 August 1685]
