Obituary

DR. H.D. TERKEURST DIES FOLLOWING STROKE 

 Dr. Henry D. TerKeurst, 57, one of Ottawa County's prominent pastors, died Thursday at the Holland hospital following a cerebral hermorrhage.  He was pastor of Trinity Reformed church, and served as chaplain in the Naval Reserve for 16 months in World War II.  Dr. TerKeurst was a brother of Mrs. Charles D. Veldhuis of Hudsonville, formerly of Coopersville.
 Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at Trinity Reformed church, with Dr. Lester J. Kuyper, Dr. John R. Mulder and Dr. Marion deVelder officiating.  Burial was in Overisel cemetery.  Among those from Coopersville who attended the services were Rev. and Mrs. G.J. Rozeboom.
