(Research):Emigrated from Hamburg by sailboat, probably in 1852. Anglecized his name to Henry. Died of heart disease, leaving wife destitute. Children worked doing housework, working on railroads


Obit. says she married Schlafke "Some years after coming to America". This doesn't match other family history from John Fisher. (I do not know who John Fisher is he was mentionedin the e-mail I received of this info, I believe he is a researcher in Ohio and no relation to this family)
