  17. FUNERAL OF PIONEER HELD THURSDAY


    The last sad rites for H. C. Richardson were held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home. A very large gathering of friends and relatives were present to pay their last respects.
    The floral offerings were many and beautiful and showed in what esteem the departed was held. Rev. R. L. Webb preached the funeral address. Interment was made in the Masonic Cemetery.
    The deceased had resided and farmed near Oxnard for many years and was well and favorably known over the entire county. Oxnard News.
