Henry Poissant

Henry Poissant, 89, Brainerd, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. He was born Nov. 28, 1911, in Belle Prairie to Eric and Victoria (Valley) Poissant. He worked for Reichert Bus as a mechanic and driver for more than 25 years. Survivors include two sons, Dick Poissant, Little Falls, and Donald Poissant, North Branch; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Stella Bellefeuille, Little Falls. His wife, Lucille; a sister, Ora St. Onge; and a brother, Wildred Poissant, died earlier. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Fort Ripley with the Rev. Paul Fruth officiating. Burial will be in St. Mathias Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today with prayers at 7 p.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and an hour before services Saturday at the church.
