Henry Arthur Mitchell was born on 16th April 1891 in Coventry, being the fourth son of a labourer and bricklayer named Alfred Mitchell and his wife Harriet Bastock. He was the couple's first child to be born in Coventry, having recently moved there from Warwick. Sadly he died very young, as his death was registered in the June quarter of 1891 - the same quarter in which he had been born.
