    [Includes photo of a memorial plaque erected by descendants in 1904 which states his remains are interred there. However, it was common practice at the time to cast the remains of fever victims into mass lye pits to prevent the spread of disease, making it more likely that his remains were also disposed of in this manner. Note: his father would also die of yellow fever 3 years later.]
