Alleen says he was in Navy around 1900 (prob. spanish-american war)? I can't find any evidence of that.

In 1900, there are 4 Harry's in the city directory and at least two in the census.

1900 census:

Harry Gormley, age 8, boarding with Rosa Caserly at 2727 Lehigh Ave. b Sept 1891 in PA? with a sister, Ellen Gormley, age 10, also b PA with Irish born parents. They are both boarding. Also there are Irish-born Patrick Gormley age 32 and Lizzie Gormley, age 35 -- altho they are both listed as single? Possible parents to these kids?

There's a 40 yr old J. Peter Gormley Ire/Ire/Ire on 1216 Vine street, boarding

In 1920 census index, the Harry above, in 1900 and 1910, is 40 yrs old, born PA and living at 3438 H Street, according to the soundex. He has apparently remarried to "Embeth" who is 29 and PA born. HOWEVER, THIS APPEAR NOT TO BE OUR HARRY! THIS BRANCH HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE TREE.

He has in his household:

In 1920, there's Harry Gormley, age 28 so b. 1892, PA boarding with Rose Casserley. She is his aunt. See 1900 record above. There are at 2959 Gaul or Gant? this appears to be the same address as is listed in 1920 city directory (2939 Gaul?) but the is wrong age for our Harry by about 12 years.

Also in 1920: Gormley, Harry age 40 (so b 1880), b PA. A lodger with George K. Logan at 1944 North 11th. This is a good age match. But I show this Harry as a clerk in 1915 at this same address while our Harry USN is at 3441 E street. The clerk is there again in 1916 but USN Harry is not listed by USN.

There's a Harry Gormley, age 50 (so b 1870 too old) PA at 220 BUckingham Place with wife Mary 53 and son Harold 20, both PA born. See Harold, a music teacher in 1920 city directory at this address.

There's a Henry Gormley, age 40 so b. 1880 -- see with wife above. they are at 3438 H Street. According to city directory this is Harry J who is an insurance agent.

So where does this leave us? If our Harry is USN Harry, as should be the case, given three-four incidence of shared location with either father or brother Dominick, then someone is wrong re: his age. Who is Ellen Gormley? and how do Patrick and Lizzie Gormley fit in? If Rose Cascerly is his aunt, born abt 1859 in Ireland, she's likely then to be Henry's sister, vs. Cecelia's sister. She's a widow in 1900 but has three daus, born 1884-1888 in PA.
