EDGERTON - Henry F. Goehl, age 88, of 7 West St., died Thurs. evening, May 25, 1989, at home. He was born Jan. 2, 1901, in Waterloo, WI, the son of Peter and Hannah (Gruchow) Goehl. He married Edna Hanson on Aug 8, 1927, in Rockford, IL. He lived in the Edgerton area for the past 60 years. He was a welder for Highway Trailer in Edgerton. He belonged to the Central Lutheran Church, where he was an usher for many years. He was a 50 year member of the Fulton Masonic Lodge #69, active in the Albion Historical Society and also served on the Park Board and Water Commission in Edgerton.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Mrs. Mildred Haberman of Waterloo, WI, and Mrs. Elizabeth Reilly of Oakland, CA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Funeral services will be Tues., May 30, at Central Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Thomas Lee officiating. Burial will be in Jenson Cemetery, Edgerton. Friends may call Mon. evening from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Masonic Services at 7:00 p.m.
