    Will of "Henry Chase of Petersham ... Worsted Comber" dated 13 Aug 1776, filed 24 Oct 1777, proved 8 Apr 1778, names my two sons Henry Chase Ju'r and Elizabeth Chase; wife; my two sons James Chase and Caleb Chase; my other two sons Stephen [and] Peter; my seven daughters Hannah Berry [torn - Ellis, from copy], Deborah, Dorcas, Phebe, Molly, Betty & Lois. Wife Abigail Chase and son Henry Chase to be executors.
    18 Dec 1777: Widow and heirs cited.
    7 Jan 1778: Assent of Abigal Chase to proving of will and requesting letter of administration.
    11 Apr 1792: Petition that Abigail Chase late of Petersham deceased was one executor, and Henry Chase the other has removed "out of the Government" so estate not fully administered, request Joel Grout of Gerry to be appointed.
