Heinrich (Henry) Burger (born 1755-1760) purchased land in the Beaver Dam area of Botetourt County in 1793. Henry, who Americanized his name to Henry from the German sepelling about the time of his marriage, married on 31 March 1795 to Ann Warner (born 1768, New Jersey).
