    DIES AT BRADY

    Henry Clay Bennett, 88, a resident
    of this county for many
    years, died Friday of a cerebral
    hemorrhage at the Good Samaritan
    Home for old folks in Brady.
    Funeral services were conducted
    at the Terry Cemetery near San
    Saba Saturday at 6 p.m., with
    Rev. Don Hendricks, pastor of the
    First Baptist Church, officiating.
    Surviving are one son; Albert,
    of Dallas; four daughters, Mrs.
    Louise Kennedy and Mrs. Margaret
    Sloan of Dallas and Nola
    Bennett and Thelina Bennett of
    California; a brother, Hirvan Bennett
    of Green River, Utah; and
    several grandchildren.
    Mr. Bennett, a retired carpenter,
    came to this county from Comanche
    in the early eighties and
    lived for a number of years in
    the Pecan Grove and Harmony
    Ridge communities. His father,
    James Bennett, once owned the
    city water works here. He lived
    with relatives in this county prior
    to moving to Brady about three
    months ago.
    Pallbearers were Arch Clements,
    David Smith, W. B. Bennett, Bill
    Moore, J. M. Lane, David Smith
    Jr.'and T. H. West. Howell-Doran
    funeral directors were in charge of
    arrangements.
