MRS. H. ELBERS DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. Henrietta Elbers, who had resided in Coopersville and vicinity practically her entire life, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Neal Doornbos, of 5534 Alpine Ave., Comstock Park, with whom she had been making her home since about the first of October. Mrs. Elbers, who was 83 years of age, had been in ill health for some time.
She was born March 28, 1864 at Eastmanville. her husband, Luke Elbers, died in 1932. She was a member of the Coopersville Reformed church, Ladies Bible Class and Ladies Missionary Society.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Doornbos, Mrs. John W. Laug and Mrs. Herbert Laug, both of Coopersville; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Sherman of East Jordan and Mrs. Mike Meindertsma of Coopersville; four of Flint; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the John W. Laug home, where private services will be held at 1:30 Saturday followed by services at the Coopersville Reformed church at 2 o'clock. Rev. G.J. Rozeboom will officiate, and burial will be in the Coopersville cemetery. Arrangements are by the Kammeraad Funeral Home.
