Miss Henrietta L. Mallard, aged 87, passed away early Monday morning at the Isabella Home. Surviving are two cousins, Mrs. S.A. Oppenheim of Detroit and Jay W. Brooks of Grand Rapids. Miss Mallard was taken to the Metcalf Mortuary, where services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment Oak Hill cemetery.

Miss Henrietta L. Mallard who taught in Grand Rapids schools for 47 years prior to her retirement in 1928, died Monday at the Isabella Home. She was 87 years old.

She had lived in Grand Rapids 75 years and taught at Straight and North Division schools and later at the former Michigan school. She belonged to the Grand Rapids Teachers Club.

She is survived by two cousins, Jay W. Brooks, president of the A. E. Brooks Co., Grand Rapids, and Mrs. S. A. Oppenheim of Detroit.

Funeral services will be held at the Metcalf Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
