Rita (Blauwendraat) of Cavan Monaghan in her 94th year. Wife of the late William Bax. Dear mother of Russell Bax (Mary) of Port Hope, Carl Bax (Milda) of Cavan Monaghan, Corinne (Mark Bourgon) of Ingleside, John Bax (Vicky) of Cavan Monaghan, Betty Bax (Barry Evans) of Kitchener and Ken Bax (Leslee) of Cavan Monaghan. Loving grandmother of seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by grand daughter Danielle. Sister of Jacob Blauwendraat of the Netherlands and pre-deceased by two brothers and one sister from the Netherlands. Tante Riek will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME - ASHBURNHAM CHAPEL, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in the Ashburnham Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens.
