    85 of 32 Stearns Ave in Leominster died December 18, 2007 in Sterling Healthcare in Sterling, Massachusetts. She was born on January 15, 1922 in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania was the daughter of William and Katherine (Lilly) Hart. She was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Florida and New Orleans, Louisana and in the Administration and Military Command Naval Repair Base in New Orleans, Louisana. She attained the rank of Pharmacists Mate Second Class, and Hospital Apprentice Second Class. She worked as a bill clerk at Leominster Hospital and at the Unitarian Church in Leominster. She was a memeber of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Leominster, the League of Women Voters, she volunteered at the Leominster Public Library, she was a Girl Scout Leader. She is survived by two sons Harry R. and his wife Rachel Howe of Leominster and Thomas C. and Jennie Howe of Holden, MA, two daughters Katherine Howe of Leominster, and Virginia Howe and her husband Paul Poyant of Acton, Maine, one brother William Hart of New Hampshire. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Howe who died in 2003, and three sisters Elizabeth L. Hart of Rhode Island , Ruth Spacciapoli, and Doris Durery both of Leominster.
    Funeral Information

    Funeral services will be held on January 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Unitarian Universalist Church on West Street in Leominster.
