HAZEN E. RICKER

Hazen E. Ricker, a resident of Quincy but for many years a business man of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday at his home, 8 Bigelow street, Quincy. He was 62 years old.

Mr. Ricker was born in Quincy, May 15, 1857, and after receiving his early schooling in this city, received a further education at the Boston Mechanic Arts High School of Boston. After leaving school he became associated in the granite business with his father, who conducted yards on Bridge street, this city, under the firm name of B. Ricker's Sons & Co. Mr. Ricker relinquished his interest in the granite business in Cambridge about 10 years ago. Two years ago he became manager of the Norfolk Downs branch of the Quincy Trust Company.

Mr. Ricker was a man of very quiet and home-loving disposition but had many friends. He is survived by his wife and one son, Roscoe R. Ricker, a violinist of note.
