Harvey S. Markley
Harvey, S. Markley, 71, passed away at his home, 223 Elliott avenue at 6:45 a. m. Saturday. He had been in failing heath for two years. Mr. Markley, a lifetime resident of Marshall county, was born on April 3, 1879, in Tyner. His parents were Daniel and Elizabeth Mitohier Markley.
He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Plymouth. He was married in 1903 to Bessie Rohrer, who died in 1935. In 1940 he was married to Mrs. Fay Snyder, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, the Rev. Lloyd Markley, of Susanville, Calif.; Cecil, Plymouth; one daughter, Mrs. Jesse Aker, Tucson, Ariz.; one stepson, Howard Snyder. Washington, D.C.; a brother, Chancey Markley, Argos; one sister, Mrs. Ada Christian, Plymouth; a stepdaughter, Louise Snyder, South Bend; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced Monday. Friends will be received in the Johnson and Son Funeral home.
