Harry was an extremely prolific and talented Quarterback at the University of Alabama. His name is still mentioned with the likes of Joe Namath, Bart Starr, and Kenny Stabler.

He led Alabama to a win in the 1945 Rose Bowl in Pasadena and gave Alabama it's first real prestige win and national attention.

He played briefly in the NFL and later was a Quarterbacks Coach then Scout for the St Louis Cardinals. He served as an usher in my father's wedding (Richard Hahn).

He attended Woodlawn High School in Birmingham.
