  5. Note: Harriet's age is given as 50 in 1900 census, 49 in 1910 census as cited, and 56 in 1920 as cited. In both 1900 and 1910 she is living with her brother-in-law, and in 1910 and 1920 she is at the same address, showing these are all, indeed, the same person.
  6. The NEHGR article cited, published in 1925, speaks as if Harriet is still alive, though we don't know when their last communication with her was.
