Citizens of Killaloe Station and a wide surrounding district were surprised on Wednesday, July 11th, when it was announced that Mr. Harold Zummach, prominent business man, funeral director and member of the Municipal Council, had passed away. Mr. Zummach, who was in his 64th year, was ill but a few hours, and it is said that death was due to a severe heart seizure.

Mr. Harold Zummach has purchased the furniture stock and business of Mr. M. B. Grace, of Killaloe, and took possession on December 3. Mr. Zummach is a skilled carpenter and, besides, had two years experience in the Knechtel furniture factory in Hanover, Ont., in varnishing, upholstering, building new and repairing all kinds of second-hand or broken furniture. He is thus competent and (sic) operate his newly acquired business.
