Harold Walter Harnden passed away peacefully on February 13, 2015 in his 90th year with family by his side. Harold is predeceased by his loving wife Joan (nee Routley). Loving father of Jean Harnden (Allan Millard) of Washago, Jim of Vancouver, Ruth Nodwell (Dave) of Etobicoke and Vali Mensen of Cobourg. Adored grandfather of Steve (Julie), Christie (Jamie), Scott (Charlene), Jonathan (Melissa), Amy, Michael (Andrea), Lindsay (Matt), Laura (Marc) and 10 great- grandchildren. Brother to Hazel Baker (the late Les) and Orletta Kernaghan (Doug) and sister-in-law Betty Beamish. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St. W., Colborne, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in his beloved Colborne United Church on Friday, February 20th at 1 p.m. Interment in Salem Cemetery in the spring. If desired, donations may be made to Colborne Community Care or Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
