    Harold Basque Bonham, 80, died Monday of congestive heart failure at his Hemet home. No services are planned.

    Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.

    Mr. Bonham, who was born in Jonesville, Va., lived in Hemet 18 years. He was a foreman for 33 years at Luer Packing Co. in Vernon.

    He served in the U.S. Army from 1940 until 1946.

    He was active in the Boy Scouts in Long Beach, and he enjoyed fishing.

    Mr. Bonham is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Bertha; a son, Clayton of Long Beach; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
