Funeral services for Harmond N. "Nick" Wedmore, 82, were slated at Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Woodburn Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Hall officiating. Interment was planned at Bellcrest Memorial park in Salem.
Mr. Wedmore, who died at a Salem hospital December 28 where he had been a patient for three days, was born March 11, 1876, at Moulton, Iowa. He came to Oregon from South Dakota in 1941 and had lived at his present address for eight years. He was married to Mary Edith Muckey, who survives, Feburary 17, 1904 at Mapleton, Iowa. He was a member of the Church of God. Mr. Wedmore suffered a stroke some time ago.
Besides his widow he is survived by six sons, A. E. Wedmore of Sedro Woolley, Wash., Charles Wedmore at Tulelake, Cal., Foster Wedmore at Salem, Leon Wedmore at Lynwood, Cal., Kenneth Wedmore at Vancouver, Wash., and Lyle "Nick" Wedmore at Springfield; four daughters, Mrs. Emily Nation at Scio, Mrs. Lou Hunter at Reno, Nev., Mrs. Mary Davis at Salem and Mrs. Joyce Kraft at Portland; two brothers, James Wedmore in Woodburn and Wesley Wedmore in Council Bluffs, Iowa; 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
