- Note: Cutter's article on the Wright Family of Woburn, [[Source:NEHGR|NEHGR}}, vol. 37, p. 79, gives the 1736 marriage record to "David Estabrook" to Hannah Wright, widow of Timothy Wright, though it appears to belong to "Daniel Estrabrook", since Daniel and Hannah Estabrook show up in Rutland having children starting in 1737. But if so, it could not be Hannah (Brooks) Wright, widow of Timothy as she was much older.
Daniel Estabrooks's wife Hannah d. 1775, aged 62, which would nicely match the age at birth of this Hannah. Which explains why this is relevant to this Hannah.
Cutter says that this Hannah Wright, the d/o James Wright, married Timothy Emerson of Haverhill. However, as she "signed in administration of father's estate, 1736", presumably meaning as an adult single woman, it is not clear how he decided that was the correct pairing, since it would seem the probate could offer no clue? A marriage record does show that Timothy Emerson married a Hannah Wright in 1739 and they apparently moved to New Hampshire and had several children according to Pope (none named James or Elizabeth, though).
Given that Cutter is almost certainly wrong about the 1736 marriage, our confidence in the Emerson marriage cannot be great. There certainly seems to be two Hannah Wrights of similar age, even though only one birth is found in Woburn.
