  2. Source:Cassidy, Anne Walker. Walkers through History, p. 257, applies this marriage to a different Samuel Morse which is refuted on his page. As a result of using an older Samuel Morse, it identifies the bride as a different Hannah Whiting who was already married and lived until 1740. This Hannah has not been located (the only obvious Hannah in the records, b. 1706/07 to John Whiting of Wrentham, is named as Hannah Fisher in her father's will and can be ruled out.)
