The gravestone was probably misinterpreted when data collection for the Hale Collection was done. Hale gives her date of death as 16 Jan 1817 æ. 75. That would place her birth at 1742. According to Jacobus, she was born 1737 per New Haven Vital Records. A newspaper account of her death also places it in 1812.
