Genealogy of the Stone Family Originating in Rhode Island By Richard C. Stone 1866 Page 64/167 Note 184 Hannah Stone (1323) married Dennis (Darius) Knight and lived in Scituate, Rhode Island. They reared a family of six children, all of whom are virtuous and respectable. A son of Mary Knight and Joseph Parker is a graduate of Dartmouth College, is a man of fine talent, and taught in some literary institution in the Southern States, with good success. When the war commenced, in 1861, he enlisted, and was elected first Lieutenant. He served his country during the war, and came home unhurt. The statistics of this family are found on page 67.
