    "... in the year 1738, the lung fever got into the family, and they were all sick with it, ... In a short time ... six of the children with their mother, were dead, viz: Philip, Benjamin, Jonathan, Betsy and Lydia."
    [Note this was written by a grandson. Note that, per the above source, the wife was still alive 3 years later when she signed a deed with her husband, so this account is confused (only five names of six children) and not correct. (Note: the deed is Suffolk deed Vol. 60, p. 140 reverse, signed 10 Sep 1740 by Banfield and also by Hannah, acknowledged 18 Mar 1740/41 by "Banfield Cparon and Hannah Capron his Wife".]
