"Hannah (Hazen), b. Sept. 1653, d. by 1683; m. William Gibson, and left three children. A William and Hannah Gibson of Boston had nine [actually, 15] children, born 1673-1696; it is possible that the earlier children were children of Hannah Hazen, but this seems doubtful, in view of the continuity of that family record, the lack of Hazen names among the children, and the fact that that William had a wife Hannah Phippen."
