Hannah Seaver's obituary appeared in two newspapers:
1. "Mrs Hannah Seaver, died in Providence, widow of Richard Seaver, aged 86" ("Columbian Centinel" newspaper dated 3 January 1810)
2. "Mrs. Hannah Seaver, widow of Richard, in 86th year; was a native of Massachusetts but early settled in Providence." ("Providence Phenix" newspaper, dated 25 December 1809).

[Note: It is not explained why it is thought that Hannah remarried. (Her father's will preceded her first marriage and names her Hannah Everett.) No such record has been found, and based on the death records, it is believed to be incorrect.]
