  2.   In Woburn Births, Vol. 2, part 2, p. 92, under "Epitaphs, Second Burial-Ground", it gives the epitaph: "Erected in memory of Mrs. Hannah Converse, wife of Mr. Jacob Converse, died Suddenly, July 13, 1820, Aet. 41." and adds the following commentary: "Hannah Converse, wife of Jacob, nee Hannah Bryant, is believed to have been born in Ipswich. Her brother, Deacon Aaron Bryant, lived and died in Wakefield." The marriage record says New Ipswich, not Ipswich. Source:Chandler, Charles H. History of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, 1735-1914, p. 256, shows Aaron, b. 1783, to be a son of Edmond Briant and 2nd wife Hannah Sprague, whom Edmond married late 1778. Aaron's death record doesn't identify his parents or place of birth, but his age of 87 in 1870 matches the birthdate given by Chandler suggesting New Ipswich is correct. That Edmond and Hannah might have a daughter Hannah in the five years between marriage and the birth of Aaron seems quite plausible, though there seems to be no record of her birth.
