Death of Horace Lloyd Bickford

From the Biddeford Journal, 3 Nov 1922 (p. 4, c. 3): "Ernest M Clark of South Portland, driver of a motor truck that struck and killed Floyd Bickford, 12, son of Horace Bickford of Lisbon a week ago, was arraigned in the Lewiston municipal court to answer to the charge of manslaughter. County Attorney Benjamin Herman recommended that in view of no evidence of carelessness the case be dropped and the court immediately ordered Mr. Clark's discharge."
