Grace Wondaal, nee Oostema, age 84 of Lansing, IL, formerly of Englewood, passed away November 18, 2003, loving stepmother of Martin Jr. (Norma) of Schererville, IN, Harold "Mike" (Betty) of Beecher, IL, Janet (Peter) Roelfsema-Buikema of Bradenton, FL, Betty Jane (George) Alexander of Beecher, IL, Doris (late Carl) Bussema of Beecher, IL and June (George) Schaaf of Frankfort, IL; beloved stepgrandmother of 22; fond great-stepgrandmother of 54 and of several great-great-step grandchildren; dear sister of Marge Van Tholen of Elmhurst, IL; fond sister-in-law of Vi, Ann, Lois and Clara Oostema; she was preceded in death by her husband Martin; stepdaughter Evelyn Laning; sister Ida Doorn and brothers Ted, Martin, Peter, Joe, Bernard and John Oostema. Funeral will be held Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. from the SchroederLauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Wondaal was a 40 year member of Oak Glen United Reformed Church of Lansing, IL.
