    Case 10196: Willard Hall 1778.

16 Sep 1789: Jonas Minot signed a quitclaim giving estate of Rev. Willard Hall to brother Willis Hall in the behalf of "the Heirs of Grace Whiting". [torn] 1790: Burpee Ames signed a receipt on behalf of his son Burpee Ames a minor & grandchild of said Deceased.

  4. Grace married in 1782 and had a child in Nov 1782 based on town records (5). Hence the date on the gravestone is impossible. It is assumed the gravestone was erected after the 2nd wife died and thus is not reliable. If the day of year is correct, the year must be 1783, which has the benefit of matching the year of christening when combined with the age at death.
