Mrs. Grace Oglevee, widow of the late Common Pleas Judge, J. C. Oglevee, died unexpectedly Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Vick, at Norfolk, Virginia. Mrs. Oglevee, 72, had resided with her daughter for the past year. She was born in Carrollton, a daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Cameron and had spent her entire life in this community until moving to Norfolk. She owned and operated the Ebersole Dry Goods Store in Carrollton for 35 years, having retired in 1940. She was a charter member of the Carrollton Music Study Club, a member of the Presbyterian Church and past president of the women's Presbyterial of the Steubenville District.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Vick; a step-daughter, Mrs. Doris Cline of Carrollton; two brothers, Isaac and Charles Cameron of Carrollton, and two grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday at the Sweeney Funeral Home. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Walter Rockenstein and Rev. B. J. Yorke officiating.
