EDDY, Grace E., 90, of rural Eau Claire died Thursday at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Buswell Funeral Home in Black River Falls. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Black River Falls. Friends may call an hour before the services at the funeral home. Friends also may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls. - Grace E. Eddy, 90, of 2593 105th St, Eau Claire, town of Hallie, died Thursday, January 14, 1999, at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls. ; She was born January 12, 1909, in Manhattan, Kansas to Ivy Mae (Chandler) and Frank Allen. She graduated from Manhattan High School and moved to Wichita, Kansas where she was employed at a defense plant. Grace married Merlin Eddy on December 1, 1949, in Manhattan where they resided until moving to Eau Claire in the 1950's. They have resided in the town of Hallie since 1957. Survivors include her husband, Merlin "Hook" Eddy; one son, Merlin Lyle "Spike" (EvaLin) Eddy of Farmington, Minn.; two sisters, Bessie Inman and Nellie Westgate, both of Manhattan; three grandchildren, Joseph Eddy, Jacob Eddy, and Jennifer Eddy, all of Farmington. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Jessie Whittney, Cora Mallon, Roxie Judd, Francis Creighton; and one brother, Charles Allen.
