She is the Daughter of Gonçalo Vaz de Mello, lord of Castanheira, and his wife Constança Martins.
February – The kings of Portugal and Castela establish peace negotiations, through delegates who are located in Olivença. These proceedings began on the 8th or 9th of February 1399 and continued until October.
