This is from Goldie's obituary in the Morning Call Newspaper, Allentown, Pennsylvania. Thursday, December 26, 1940:

Goldie J. nee Dorward , Roberts, wife of William Roberts of Slatedale, died on Monday morning at the Allentown Hospital , the result of an illness she had suffered for several months. A native and life long resident of the community, she was born July 20, 1893, a daughter of Moses and Amanda, nee Schleicher, Dorward.: In addition to her husband, she leaves six children; Loretta, wife of Gordon Jones of Emerald; Mrs. Rosa Easterday, at home; Charles, Monroe, Frank and William all of Emerald; and John of town. Two sisters, Mrs. Robert Williams of Emerald, and Mrs. Chas. Schleicher of Northampton , also survive. Interment at Slatedale Cemetery.(Pallbearers were Charles, Monroe , William, Frank Dorward, Thomas Wertman, and Harvey Remaley.)
