STEWART, Glen Victor Founding Member and Past President of the Furniture Travelers Association and Past Member of the Kiwanis Club Passed away in Barrie on 22nd of January, 2004 in his 95th year. Glen Stewart witnessed the introduction of both electricity and the internet to his community. He experienced two World Wars, the Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression. Athlete, dance instructor, mechanic, traveling salesman, retail store owner - Glen met all challenges with equanimity and enthusiasm. He was a civic booster in every community he joined and was a man of strong convictions. He lived a full and rich life. Beloved husband of Catherine who pre-deceased him in 2001. Dear father of Kelly Beales and her husband John of Victoria, B.C. and Stan and his wife Eileen of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Cody & Ashley Beales and Allan & Andrew Stewart. At the request of the family, there will be cremation with no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
