    ...m. 13 Jan. 1731 Giles Tidmarsh, who was junior warden of Christ Church, Boston, in 1752, and senior warden in 1753. Gyles Dulake Tidmarsh of Boston, uncle of Giles above, probably an Englishman, made his will 23 Nov. 1737. In displeasure at his nephew he leaves him "one shilling and no more," this, however, in his mind being too much. How early Giles and Margaret (Gerrish) Tidmarsh settled at Halifax, N. S., we do not know, but in 1776 we find Giles one of the magistrates there.
