"4 Gideon Northrup (Joseph), b. about 1753, in Plymouth, Conn. Soldier in the Revolution; with Washington at one time. M. Hannah Hitchcock (d. Sept. 20, 1824, and was buried at Camden, Oneida Co., N. Y.). He removed to Camden, and later to Pine Grove, Warren Co., Pa., where he d. June 18, 1848, aged 89 years."
