"The marriage of David B. Batchelder to Miss Gertrude F. Wardwell, daughter of B. Frank Wardwell, occurred at the latter's residence on Summer Street, Tuesday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock. Rev. F.A. Wilson of the Free church, performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate family of the bride only. The groom is a resident of Decatur, Ill., and after a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Batchelder will make their home in that place. The bride has been at home for over a year taking care of her father, and her mother, who has since passed away.
