MRS. STRAUSS DIES OF AUTO INJURIES

 As a result of injuries received in an automobile accident, Mrs. Gertrude A. Strauss, 53, died at the Community hospital Saturday night.  Mrs. Strauss was crossing Tenth street, between Market and Almond, when struck by a machine driven by Gerald Parsons, 20, according to the police report.  Parsons rushed Mrs. Struass to the hospital, where an examination showed that she had received a fractured skull.
 Mrs. Strauss is survived by the husband, Edward S., and two sons and four daughters: Harry of Seattle and Claude of Palo Alto; Mrs. Lawrence Gilkerson, Mrs. George Stoddard and Misses Edna and Frances Strauss, all of Riverside.

STRAUSS -- In Riverside, Calif., Nov. 10, 1928. Gertrude A. Strauss, aged 53 years, beloved wife of Mr. Edward S. Strauss of 861 West Tenth street, Riverside, Calif.; mother of Mr. Harry Strauss of Seattle, Wash.; Mr. Claude Strauss of Palo Alto, Claif.; Mrs. Lawrence Gilkerson of 743 West Second street, Riverside; Mrs. George Stoddard of Riverside, and Miss Edna and Miss Frances Strauss, both of Riverside; sister of Mrs. John LaFrance of 249 Larchwood, Riverside; Mr. John N. Hull of Redondo, Calif. and Mr. Denton E. Hull of Los Angeles, Calif. Services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the M.H. Simons & Co. chapel. Rev. D. V. Alderman officiating. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.
