George Steele age 45 or older is found in 1810 Botetourt County census, next to George Jr. and his young family and Robert Steele and his young family (wife Elizabeth Wilson, daughter of Mathew). Anyone know about George Steele?

    - George Steele is listed in the 1810 Census, but his son George Steele, Jr. is NOT listed next to him, nor is he on the same page as Robert Steele. George Stull and his son George Stull, Jr. [a different Botetourt family] are listed on the same page as Robert Steele.

I know this George. His Father is Samuel Steele who lives in Fauquier. Samuel wrote a bequest that was found in Augusta which gifted George and his family some slaves. I used to have this but have since lost it. The tithable lists for Fauquier show young George coming on the list. I need to check into my notes and I will be able to post more info to you in another email or you can email me at mazemom@san.rr.com
