    George F. Snyder, 80, of 533 Washington St., Allentown, died Saturday at his home. He had been ill several months.

    A native of New Tripoli, he was a son of the late Nathan and Maria George Snyder. He had lived in Allentown for 60 years.

    Mr. Snyder retired 10 years ago. He last worked as a salesman for the Hunsicker Co., Allentown, and formerly was an employee of Harvey Wint, Allentown tobacco wholesaler.

    He was a charter member of Dubbs Memorial United Church of Christ, Allentown.

    Surviving are his widow, the former Myra Reimert; a daughter, Madaline R. [sic], wife of Thomas G. Lennox, Wilson; and two grandsons, Thomas G. Lennox, Jr. and Robert M Lennox.

    The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
