    GEORGE W. PEACOCK

    Funeral services for George W. Peacock, 70, native of Christian county, who has farmed seven miles northeast of here for the past 30 years, were to be at Liberty church at 3 o'clock this afternoon, followed by burial in Liberty cemetery under the direction of Alma Lohmeyer. Mr. Peacock died Sunday evening after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Peacock, four sons, John Peacock, Luther E. Peacock and Tobe B. Peacock of Springfield, and Jake Peacock of Isabel, Kan.; one daughter, Mrs. Lulu Garrison of Springfield; one stepson, Claude D. Austin, and six grandchildren.
