Records cited on this page show (important: see also the marriage records on the various attached family pages) George had 5 wives, at least one of whom he apparently separated from or divorced, one of whom he married, after living with her and having children for at least 13 years, most of which period he was known as George Palmer? The records are confusing, but appear to be tied together by explicit naming of his parents, or presence of son George Otis Parmenter, or age and birth place.
