    Obituary
    SERVICES HELD SATURDAY FOR GEORGE W. PAGE, 88
    Funeral services were held for George W. Page, 88, a lifelong resident of the Russell area, at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Green funeral home, Hermon, with the Rev. David Stone, pastor of the Hermon Baptist church, officiating.
    Burial was in Hermon cemetery. Mr. Page died Tuesday, August 25, at the Barlow nursing home at Canton, where he had been a patient for three months.
    The Russell Masonic lodge, of which he was a member, held a service Friday evening at the funeral home.
    Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Celia Chamberlain, of Hermon. Mr. Page never married.
    Mr. Page was born at Russell on Jan. 15, 1871, son of William and Anette Robertson Page. He spent his entire life in the town of Russell and was a farmer.
