    Northway, George, Farmington. Will dated 8 September, 1736; I, George Northway, of the Town of Farmingtown, doe make this my last will and testament: I give unto Hannah Northway, my wife, the improvement of 1-3 part of all my houseing and lands during her natural life, and also 1-3 part of my moveable estate and one cow to be to her and her heirs forever. I give unto my sons, John Northway, Samuel Northway and Josiah Northway, all my lands within the bounds of Farmington, to be equally divided between them, except my eldest son John Northway, to him I give in value £20 of my land more than to my other 2 younger sons—which I give to them and to their heirs forever. I give to my eldest daughter Hannah Tryall 5 shillings besides what she hath already received. To my daughter Mary North I give the sum of £10 besides what she hath already received. To my daughter Sarah Northway I give the sum of £30, to be paid her at the age of 18 years. Also, my will is that my just debts be duly paid by my executors; and if there is any moveable estate left, then my will is that it be divided between my two youngest daughters, viz., Mary North and Sarah Northway. I appoint my wife Hannah Northway and my eldest son John Northway executors.

    Page 45—1st September, 1747: John Northway, executor, moved to this Court for a division of the lands of sd. deceased to and amongst the sons of the sd. deceased according to the last will: Whereupon this Court appoint Asahell Strong, Capt. Hezekiah Lee and Joseph Hooker, of Farmington, distributors."
